Welcome to The Antique Company , the big blue building on the corner of 21st Street and X Street in Sacramento . Close to the Capital City Freeway and an easy trip from Highways 99 and 5 .

Established in the late 1900's , we occupy a huge corner building with a small garden area that leads to another 1000 sq foot store ( called TAC ) that contains our Mid Century collection .

We are open every day from 10 am to 6 pm and only close for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Day holidays .

We bring in our merchandise directly from Europe in 40 foot containers . Every two months , we unwrap hundreds of pieces of furniture and thousands of pieces of china , glass , fabric , mirrors and stained glass windows and doors .

Most of our " previously enjoyed " pieces of furniture date from the 1880's to the 1940's . We always try to keep in a great inventory of vintage mirrors , stained glass windows and doors , attractive Art Deco pieces and large quantities of Sleek Teak Danish Moderne furniture . But , be warned - with our low prices we have a very quick turnover of items and we bring in fresh new " old " pieces every week from our huge warehouse .

As our items come from Europe , we cannot bring in electrical items as they are not electrically compatible here in the States , so we complement our furniture with a massive range of modern reproduction lighting . Unusual Tiffany style lamps and ultra modern pieces are throughout both stores . Our range of new mirrors is also extensive and varied .

We offer a good value delivery service within 50 miles of the store . We offer layaway for items ( with restrictions ) and we offer Gift Cards for the hard to buy for .

However , the furniture items do not have the facility to purchase them directly from the website . This is because the shipping costs vary so much from State to State . We will call you with the costs and can process your purchase via the telephone . This takes about 24 hours .
